From Babel to Abraham — A Full, Expanded Exploration of How Humanity Keeps Ruining the Plan of Salvation, and How Yahuah Keeps Turning Our Ruins Into Redemption
1.0 The Third Humanity and the Plan of Salvation
Humanity enters a new and complex stage in its history. After the Flood, after the first and second groups of humanity have completed their role, we arrive at what we call the Third Group of Humanity. This group is central to all Scripture, because from within this group Yahuah will reveal His plan of salvation, His covenant, and ultimately the promised Redeemer.
The Third Group of Humanity is not pure like the first group before the Fall, nor fully corrupted like the second group in the days of the Watchers and the Nephilim. This third group is a mixture — a blending of both the original human line created in righteousness and the lingering influence of the Watchers, the Nephilim, and the spirits that survived the Flood as disembodied evil forces (1 Chanok/Enoch 15–16; Jubilees 10). It is within this mixture — this tension between purity and corruption — that Yahuah begins to unveil the deepest layers of His redemptive plan.
1.1 Leaving Lubar in the Mountains of Ararat — A New Beginning Already in Danger
When Noach and his family stepped out of the ark and descended the slopes of Lubar, in the mountains of Ararat (modern-day Armenia), it might appear that the world had been “reset” to innocence. But Scripture and the ancient records reveal the opposite.
The Flood erased bodies, not spirits. Enoch testifies that although the giants perished in the waters, their disembodied spirits remained on earth — restless, corrupt, and hostile to mankind (Enoch 15:8–12). Jubilees further explains a crucial truth: after the Flood, Mastema pleaded that the evil spirits remain active in the world, and Yahuah, in His sovereignty, permitted a portion of them to stay to test humanity, to reveal hearts, and to refine the righteous (Jubilees 10:7–12).
Thus, when the descendants of Noach began to multiply again, humanity was physically new and genealogically pure, but they re-entered a world that was spiritually hostile. They did not carry in themselves the corrupted nature of the Nephilim, nor had they yet merged with any hybrid line. What they carried was the ordinary fallen condition inherited from Adam — mortality and vulnerability — while the true danger came from the outside: the surviving Nephilim lines, the renewed activity of Mastema and the evil spirits, and the lingering memory of the pre-Flood corruption. Humanity began again in purity, but surrounded by forces eager to corrupt it.
The Third Humanity did not begin in corruption. It began in the preserved purity of Noach and his sons, a family described as tamiym — perfect in their generations. However, the world they entered after the Flood was not free of evil. Genesis 8:21 must be read correctly: when Yahuah declares that “the inclination of man’s heart is evil from his youth,” He is not speaking of Noach, nor of his sons. He is speaking of the corrupted humanity that had survived — the Nephilim and hybrid lines whose nature remained inclined toward violence, rebellion, and spiritual darkness.
Thus, the Third Humanity begins pure, but it begins in a world where evil did not end, because Yahuah Himself reveals that the corrupted line still lived, and its influence would soon rise again.
1.2 Two Seeds Leave the Mountains — But Do Not Yet Meet – The Qadosh Seed — the Remnant of the First Humanity
The line of Noach, pure in its genealogical record and carrying the Ruach of Yahuah, descended from the mountain and settled in sanctified obedience. This is the preserved seed, the remnant of the First Group of Humanity, still carrying the breath and teaching of Elyôn.
1.3 The Corrupted Seed — the Remnant of the Nephilim
But also emerging — though from another side of the mountains — were the descendants and survivors linked to the Nephilim, those who migrated from the region of Ararat (Turkey). Though their bodies had perished in the waters, their inheritance, their teachings, and their spiritual contamination survived through the watchers’ forbidden knowledge that had been preserved before the Flood.
These two seeds existed simultaneously on earth, but they had not yet encountered one another. Humanity was living parallel destinies: the pure lineage walking under Yahuah’s covenantal memory and the corrupted lineage preserving the mysteries of the Watchers.
1.4 The Turning Point — Qeynan and the Teachings of the Watchers
The age of separation did not last long. The moment that sealed the destiny of the Third Humanity arrived when Qeynan, a descendant of Noach, encountered the teachings of the Watchers. This was the breach. This was the moment when the pure bloodline met forbidden knowledge, when the holy genealogy first touched corruption, and when the separation between the First and the corrupted line ended. With Qeynan, the two seeds merged into one world — and the Third Group of Humanity was born.
1.5 The Rise of Babel — Humanity Repeats the Sin of the Watchers – The Migration to Shinar
As the descendants of the nephillims migrate from the mountains into the plains of Shinar (Mesopotamia), they decide to build a single city and tower. This moment is not simply political; it is deeply spiritual. The people settle and say:
“Come, let us build a city and a tower whose top may reach unto the heavens, and let us make a name for ourselves…” — Genesis 11:4
This is the language of rebellion, ambition, and spiritual pride. It echoes the same motivations that drove the Watchers to descend on Mount Hermon (Enoch 6:1–6) and bind themselves by oath to corrupt the earth.
Humanity is repeating the same rebellion: rejecting divine authority, centralizing power, seeking access to heavenly realms without holiness, attempting to become like Elohiym through human unity and technology.
This tower is not merely tall — it is a portal structure, a ziggurat designed to manipulate spiritual realms, revive pre-Flood knowledge, and create a unified power that challenges Yahuah Himself.
1.6 Yahuah Intervenes — Judgment That Saves
Yahuah sees that if humanity (nephillims offspring) continues united under corruption, the entire world will once again fall into irreversible destruction — and this time, Yahuah has already sworn never again to destroy the earth with a flood (Genesis 9:11).
So Yahuah does something brilliant: He breaks the unity of evil.
“Come, let Us go down and confound their language…” — Genesis 11:7
Yahuah confuses their languages, destroys their ability to cooperate, and scatters them across the whole earth. Many think this is simply punishment, but it is protection — an act of mercy disguised as judgment.
Had Yahuah allowed Babel to succeed, corruption would have united globally like before the Flood, and redemption would become nearly impossible. By scattering them, Yahuah creates space for a new plan: He will call one man, one family, one nation through whom He will redeem all scattered redeemable nations.
This scattering also fulfills Deuteronomy 32:8: “When the ELYÔN divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Âdâm, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Yâshârêl.”
The nations become spiritually governed by lesser elohiym (Psalm 82), but Yahuah will choose one nation to be His own (Deut 32:9). That nation must begin with one man: Abram.
1.7 Sodoma and Gomorrah — The Remnants of Nephilim Culture in the Third Humanity
As humanity spreads, certain cities become centers of corruption. Sodoma and Gomorrah are the clearest examples. These cities are inhabited by the remnants of Nephilim — not necessarily Nephilim giants themselves, but by any of all the categories of nephillims, their culture, their morality, their worldview, their perversion, their violent rejection of righteousness.
“And YAHUAH said, because the cry of Sedôm and Ămôrâh is great, and because their sin is very grievous.” — Genesis 18:20
1.8 Lot — A Righteous Man Living in a Corrupt Civilization
Lot chooses to live near and eventually inside this environment. The apostles describe him this way:
“…the righteous man, tormented in his righteous soul day after day by their lawless deeds.” — 2 Peter 2:7–8
Even though he lives among them, his daughters absorb perverse customs, his wife embraces the culture of Sodoma (shown by looking back), and his own family becomes morally confused.
And yet, Yahuah remembers Abraham.
“Elohiym remembered Abraham and sent Lot out of the overthrow.” — Genesis 19:29
The destruction of Sodoma is not just judgment. It is also redemption for Abraham’s line. Had Lot died, Abraham would have had no possible heir if the promise delayed.
Lot’s rescue serves two purposes: delivering a righteous remnant from destruction and preserving the possibility of Abraham’s seed until the birth of Yitschâq.
Even though the post-destruction events (Lot’s daughters seducing him, resulting in Moab and Ammon) reveal deep corruption, Yahuah will still later redeem even this broken seed — for example, Ruth the Moabite becomes part of the lineage of Mashiyach.
This is the theme of the Third Humanity: Humanity creates disasters; Yahuah creates redemption from the ruins.
